My Author Journey
My writing journey began as a young teenager, journaling in my diary. I had never dreamed about becoming an author but always felt drawn to writing letters, notes, cards and journalling. In 2020 I began to write children’s books and have self-published three books.

Love Bug Books
Love Bug Books is the name of my publishing company and came from the inspiration of one tiny ladybug, a symbol of remembrance of my beloved Oma Elly. Hidden ladybugs are a signature piece of all of my children’s books and a favorite part of the reading experience of littles and families!

“This is a beautiful book, with a great message for all ages. Elliot's story is familiar to everyone who has had children. We don't always know why we are emotional, but it is good to know what to do to navigate them. I wish I knew the mindfulness practices when my children were small. Now, I can be the Grandmother, and pass them on. I often use the practices myself.
I love the extra touches, like the ladybugs, cloud shapes, star constellations, and the nods to Laura's family. Beautiful read.”
