Engaging in mindfulness helps to reduce anxiety, balance emotions, improve self-regulation, self-awareness, communication and relationships with children. Other benefits include improved focus and concentration, improved sleep and behavior and tools to de-stress and resolve conflict.
This 3 day camp offers the morning session for Ages 5-8 and the afternoon session for Ages 9-12. Mindfulness Coach and former Classroom teacher, Laura Lawrence, will teach mindfulness through music, movement, literacy, nature, art, guided visual imagery and more!
